FAQs

Got a question? We’re here to help.

  • When do your appointments become available?

Appointments will become available one month at a time every third Sunday of the Month by 12pm.

Any changes or updates to the booking schedule will be posted immediately and if you are a client, you will receive an email.

  • I don't see any appointments available, do you have a waitlist?

If there are no appointments available for the date you are desiring,  a waitlist option will be presented where you can input your information.

Once you submit a waitlist request, you will be automatically informed in the case of a cancellation.

  • What type of payment methods do you accept?

I accept cash and card payments.

If you will be paying in cash, please know in advance I do not carry change.

  • How long is the appointment?

The appointment can range from 1 h 30 minutes to 3 hours and 30 minutes, depending on the service.

  • What should I expect from my appointment?

Each visit is guided by discovery, clarity, and gentle guidance as we work toward healthier curls and a deeper sense of confidence — together.

Every experience is approached with care and intention, offering thoughtful education and insight designed to support your curls as they grow and flourish in their own time.

  • Do you provide color or chemical services ?

I do not provide color or chemical services. If your're interested in getting this kind of service provided feel free to reach out for referrals.

  • Do you work with kids ?

I service children 12 years of age and older.

  • Who is the curly cut for ?

Curly cuts are best suited for guests who wear their curls most of the time (roughly 80% or more as their primary style). This approach creates balance, shape, and longevity when curls are allowed to be styled and maintained consistently.

This experience is for those who feel ready to commit to their curl journey — honoring the process by partnering with a specialist and maintaining consistency at home with their routine and care.

If you primarily prefer blowouts or silk presses, this service may not be the best fit at this time.

If you are experiencing heat damage, it’s important to consider your readiness before booking. Depending on the severity, achieving the best results may require removing the damaged ends through a more significant cut. If you are not yet comfortable with that level of length removal, it may be best to wait to book until your hair has grown to a length where you feel at peace releasing the damage. This allows you to get the most out of both the cut and the overall experience.

If you’re unsure what your hair needs right now or would like guidance before moving forward, I recommend scheduling a virtual consultation to discuss your options thoughtfully.

Above all, this is about choosing what supports your confidence and aligns best with your lifestyle in this season.

  • What is Priority Booking ?

Priority booking is an opportunity for anyone who wants first dibs on appointments before the books open to the public.

There is a convenience fee of $20 and the typical deposit to book are both required at the time of confirming your Priority Bookings. The deposit will be deducted off the balance of service.

This provides peace of mind knowing your appointment has been locked in and I book the appointment for you! This is perfect for those who have busy schedules, want to stick with their maintenance appointments or need to secure important dates!

  • Is my deposit refundable ?

The $50 deposit is non-refundable and is deducted from the full balance on the day the service is fulfilled.

The deposit can be transferred 1x if rescheduling is needed.
